Landscapes By Ashleigh

Hello and Welcome!

I opened my store to share my paintings with as many people as possible. The process of turning a blank canvas into a quality work of art is as equally satisfying as it is challenging. Connecting with people through my art and creating paintings that are enjoyed and loved is my main motivation to push through challenges and continue painting.

Right now I am working through two main collections of oil paintings that I believe will connect and resonate with many people.

Cosmere Collection

The first collection is entirely inspired by Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere Universe and will all be painted on my homemade 30”x40” canvas boards. I am a huge fan of these books, and everytime I read them, I picture the beautiful expansive landscapes in my mind and wish there was more art focused specifically on landscapes from the Cosmere. My plan is to create at least one painting from each stand-alone book and series. I am starting with landscapes inside the Stormlight Archive including: Urithuru, The Purelake, Horneater Peaks, Reshi Isles and of course The Shattered Plains. I am really looking forward to creating these paintings, and thanks to the incredible and inspiring worldbuilding of Brandon Sanderson, the possibilities of future paintings are endless. Especially considering he continues to publish more Cosmere novels faster than us fans can blink!

National Parks Collection

Not all of us can be Brandon Sanderson fans, but everyone can appreciate the beauty of nature. That is why my second collection will consist of my interpretation of different National Parks from all across the United States. I feel inspired to paint National Parks because there is so much unique beauty to be found and discovered. I also know that many people, including myself, have fond memories of their trips to National Parks and maybe one of my paintings will be a nice keepsake or reminder of a wonderful adventure. This collection will be painted on custom made 24”x32” stretched canvases.

I wish I could hand paint an original painting for everyone, but it is simply not possible so I went for the next best thing: quality, affordable art prints. To provide high quality art prints, I take each of my paintings to be professionally scanned. I work very closely with the photographer to ensure that the prints will look as close to the original painting as possible.
