This single day landscape workshop focuses specifically on capturing water and light. We will explore techniques for translating complex reflections onto canvas.

I will be at the Expo Center performing live oil painting demos in the fine art building from 10am to 10pm. I'll answer questions, and share insights on my painting process including my approach to block in masses and build up value from dark to light.

I'm participating in the annual Sacramento Open Studios tour, presented FREE to the public by Verge Center for the Arts. Both days at 11:00am and 3:00pm, I’ll be demonstrating how a simple, single color foundation creates beautiful lifelike depth before adding color.
