Medium Focus: This class will explore a variety of mediums, including acrylics, oil pastels, mixed media, graphite pencils, and watercolor.

About The Class: Designed specifically for teens, this weekly studio class provides an encouraging environment for young artists to grow their skills, experiment, and find their unique voice. We will explore a variety of art movements, materials, and techniques: from the expressive brushwork of Impressionism and the optical blending of Pointillism, to the structured approaches of traditional realism.

Students will dive into essential artistic principles, focusing heavily on drawing accuracy, understanding values, and mastering color mixing. Throughout this ongoing course, we will tackle a diverse rotation of subjects to keep projects challenging and engaging, including landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and animal portraits.
