"Urithuru Above the Highstorm" Original Fan Art - Matte Canvas Print, inspired by Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive Novels.
*These canvas prints are created from a professionally scanned photo of my original oil painting.*
To me, the world that Brandon Sanderson created is a character all into itself, I might even consider it the main character. This artwork depicts my idea of what the city of Urithuru looks like based on the descriptions in the books and on The 17th Shard fan site(The official Bradon Sanderson fan site). In this painting, I wanted to convey the relative safety of the city above the Highstorm and provide an idea of exactly how massive the city is. You can also see a glimpse of my take on what "The Scar" might look like in the night sky. From one fan to another, I hope you enjoy my work and that I did proper justice to the amazing world of Roshar.
